wat, like no credit/debit card of any kind?
- bildung 8y agoNot very common in e.g. many parts of Europe.
- Symbiote 8y agoWhich European country doesn't have debit cards?
- bildung 8y agoNote I didn't claim debit cards don't exist here, just that they are not very common, especially for online payments. I personally live in Germany, in the middle of my live, with kids and a big household etc. and have never used a credit card, nor have I undergone a single situation where I needed one.
- _ooqq 8y agoProbably none, but to be blunt, not everyone is willing to put their heads into such a noose. Anything banking involves a tradeoff of some sorts, eg. whether I'd like to have my data with or out of the next Equifax-like leak... Seriously, give me a reason to trust these things, because I rather manage with what I have instead, and so far with little trouble. With what I'd call the upside of me consuming as little as possible from the international money mobsters. I do need some hardware once in a while, and the options there really could be better.
