- Dylan16807 8y agoIf it actually did evoke that in the average person, the mistake wouldn't happen so often. And what if it evokes the very similar Portuguese, where "ano" does in fact mean year?
- mitchty 8y agoSeemingly it would then be ano novo instead of ano nuevo.
