- TimMeade 8y agoIdentical desk setups at home and work. Carry it back and forth. Awesome setup actually.
- vinceguidry 8y agoAwesome for me would be two iMacs and no carrying.
- anentropic 8y agothen you have to sync your desktop, apps and files between them though
- vinceguidry 8y agoAlready do that between four systems running 2 different operating systems. Dropbox makes it a lot easier.
- wilsonnb2 8y agoWhat you really need is one of these fashionable carrying bags for the 27 inch iMac. https://www.amazon.com/Lavolta-Carrying-Case-Apple-27-inch/dp/B01DYHDQNI https://www.amazon.com/Lavolta-Carrying-Case-Apple-27-inch/d...
- giarc 8y agoAre people really moving their iMac around so much they require a bag?!
- sgehly 8y agoThis is the first comment to make me laugh on Hacker News in quite a while.
- seanmcdirmid 8y agoI believe my dad’s old Osborne luggable was heavier than a 27” iMac. Of course, it came in it’s own case and a whopping 4” monochrome text only monitor.
- Tsiklon 8y agoThat's quite a ridiculous sight in my opinion. I'm imagining that person trying to bring that thing aboard the tube in London.
- anentropic 8y agobecause it's not portable, duh
