Awesome data points. It's missing something else, though, in my opinion: County bureaucracy. If I could get an acre of land, for maybe $20,000, that isn't a chemical biohazard dump, isn't full of trash or tree stumps, has EASY zoning and building code compliance, and the police won't come banging down my door when they mistake my server farm for a marijuana grow operation, then sign me up, I'll come live out there. Unfortunately, driving through any of these counties will lead you to some hilariously idiotic policing and bureaucracy. These officials have a lot of time on their hands, and they look at their citizens as cash cows. It's no wonder that the jobless, nearly homeless residents of these counties choose drugs over political organization.
