Then you are arguing that the law that is currently in effect, and which was voted and upheld with Democrat's help, is a "gross violation of human rights." Maybe you should also petition and push for help on the Democrat side instead of just pointing the finger across the isle.

Maybe you should realize that while one party's push was subtle and clearly not supported by the vast majority of the party, the other is obviously in favor of it and wants more of this. This is stupid whataboutism. Democrats didn't stop blaming Obama over drone strikes and a series of things that people within the party actively opposed. Whereas all you have here are bigoted Republicans and people like you who are trying to sidestep the main issue.
