Voronoi diagrams work for any definition of `distance` that may suit your needs. So weighting by airport size and/or sea distance is pretty trivial.

- Marazan 8y agoYeah I'm pretty sure that whilst the 'mid' points on Delauny triangulation would be correctly scalped the edges of the Voronoi diagram would be wrong?
- _verandaguy 8y agoA different approach: you can distort the map underneath, similarly to those maps that scale regions as a function of population rather than actual geographic area.
