Do you care? You will only get noticed if your script actually fails and does bad work, and even then, worst case scenario you just get your account banned, no big loss.
- derekp7 8y agoYou'd have to make sure that account is not tied to anything else you care about, such as your Amazon Prime membership or AWS or Kindle or ... Also you'd have to go over a VPN to mask your IP address. And, when signing up for Mechanical Turk, you need to give a bunch of real info if you ever hope to extract payment.
- skate22 8y agoI mean, it's unethical. Especially if you're labeling data for medical research or somthing.

- Rjevski 8y agoWhether a human or a machine (or a machine that claims to be a human) is doing it, there should be oversight and double or triple checking if the result is used for anything sensitive. I'd say it's unethical to put the outcome of medical research into the hands of unknown Mechanical Turk workers without any oversight.
