- moeamaya 8y agoAppreciate it! Lots of care and time went into seemingly "useless" details but I think the sum is a bit nicer than the parts.
- Eugeleo 8y agoYeah, the design is really great! The only thing that slightly (as slightly as one can imagine) put me off are the sharp corners on the "Side project collective" box, while everywhere else are those nice round corners. It may be just me, though, just my two cents.
- FrankDixon 8y agoIs there some name to this style? I'm seeing it more often these days, but just can't nail it down to a framework or so...
- ratsimihah 8y agoI see a mix of flat and material design, but I'm not sure it has a name like Brutalist does. One should probably come up soon given how nice it is. I really like the Rubik font here.
- bpicolo 8y agoReplacing borders with drop shadows seems to work out great - plus light background with some really delicious colors. Reminds me of Stripe design.
- ratsimihah 8y agoI agree. I'm using a similar design in a current pet project (http://www.niche.fm http://www.niche.fm), it's fun. I still need to update the old lightpink + #181818 modules, though. :)
- yosito 8y ago> I can't quite place it It's the cool backgrounds Bye
- TheOtherHobbes 8y agoWhite or very light background, rounded corners, drop shadows, and some time on spent on proportion. It's a nicer look than Material or any of its flat competitors. I wouldn't object if web design headed back in this direction, but it's not a new look. Various Kai Krause and Metacreations products used a version of it back in the 1990s.
