Why not only use volatile memory then? That even allows you to have a redial feature.

Why not only use volatile memory then? That even allows you to have a redial feature.
- lopmotr 8y agoMaybe because HDDs are much cheaper than RAM. Or if it loses power, it can continue printing where it left off.
