- seanmcdirmid 9y agoWhile Huawei is probably indirectly controlled and owned by the PLA, many Chinese companies are not owned by the state, like Tencent.
- Lionsion 9y agoYou don't need to be owned by the state to follow commands from it.
- seanmcdirmid 9y agoYes, but that isn’t unique to China or even authoritarian economies. It’s definitely a shade of grey thing.
