and if they did, Why shouldn't I do everything it takes to win?

- dwringer 9y agoIt came up in the comments yesterday about the recent Panera security breach. Someone speculated that we were seeing the emergence of an infosec version of the four dogs defense. Presumably someone then felt it was interesting enough to warrant its own submission.
- dang 9y agoA lot of submissions have overlap with the politics of the moment, but that doesn't mean the discussion should cross straight into that. On the contrary, we should mostly resist doing so. On HN, the idea is to focus on the diffs, not rush into the shallow hotness that makes all discussions the same.
