If the hit is as bad as they say (30% performance), cloud providers will be almost forced to upgrade when the new hardware comes out that fixes it. Are they really ready to adopt AMD? Go long on INTC?
- matwood 9y agoI'm not sure AMD could even handle the volume...
- dx034 9y agoI'm sure they'll be happy to produce 24/7 or raise some prices to take care of that.
- asgioiobuio 9y agoThey could get AMD hardware that works today. We don't know when Intel will have working hardware. It will be at least months and possibly years. Processor design is a long process.
