The fact that this policy applies to every App Store and not just the Chinese one should answer your question.
- MBCook 9y agoEnforcing it globally is probably just easier, especially since other countries may end up passing similar laws. Honestly any transparency in this area is probably a nice win, even if this isn’t as good as banning the things are fixing a lot of the other scummy practices out there.
