  I assume this is blatant speculation. Do you have any data or any other indication that indicates that venture funds are putting money into Bitcoin? Or if the investors in the funds are pouring money into bitcoin.

  Could be - or it could be going to ICOs. It seems the initial scams phase is (mostly) over* and they are becoming more and more like regular investments. EDIT: * not to say you should invest in ICOs without proper research and without knowing what you will get out of it.
