So why weren't employee protection or training part of the tax break? Same point.
- Joky 9y agoWhy would everyone's taxes be used to protect a few workers? Especially (apparently) not the greatest... If the company is doing well it'll continue to hire and provide employment to others. As a society, I believe we could argue that we shouldn't subsidize companies that offshore the work, but otherwise if we want help for employees that are let go (training, assistance, ...) better make it a public service.
