- 6ak74rfy 9y agoThe role of project management is very different from that of engineering management. For e.g., the former doesn't have any people management, whereas the latter does.
- twobyfour 9y agoThat's not exactly true. A project manager in some ways has a more difficult people management job than an engineering manager does. They're held accountable for the coordination and performance of people over whom they hold no actual authority. That takes some major diplomatic skills.
