- copperx 9y agoDo you close your browser that often?
- throwaway613834 9y agoYeah, I close tabs when I don't need them which pretty often means I have nothing open. It's just cognitive overload and a distraction to constantly have tabs open.
- 482794793792894 9y agoFor my mental cleanup it works to have about:config?filter=browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab set to false.
- throwaway613834 9y agoWindows and tabs are both cognitive overload for me, I don't treat regular windows any differently from browser tabs.
- copperx 9y agoCommand-H does the trick for me.
- throwaway613834 9y agoHiding stuff doesn't do it for me haha :\ if it's running then it's taking some of my attention...
- rspeer 9y agoThere's still that "Firefox is installing updates" modal that shows up the first time you launch the new version. But after that bad first impression, launching Firefox 57 is very snappy.
- throwaway613834 9y agoHm, I just installed it. It's fine enough, it's just not quite matching Chrome or otherwise what I would call snappy (I have a relatively high bar for that). Though now my main problems with it are that my extensions don't work and Gmail threads appears way too big for some reason.
