- tonyztan 9y agoWe can have two options for unlock: (Face ID + PIN) OR (Alphanumeric Passphrase). The former for daily use and the latter as backup or for system restart.
- Karunamon 9y agoThat’s what it does right now - if Touch ID or face id fails you still have your password to fall back on. I think it may do this automatically if the touch sensor dies but you can always force it with the 5x quick taps on the power button.
- MBCook 9y agoIt is, but GP is saying if the auto method is FaceID + password and FaceID doesn't work... then what? Clearly just the password isn't enough to get you into the phone.
