On the fly image processing & optimization.
- ZenoArrow 9y agoInteresting. You mean something more advanced than you can do with some command-line scripting?
- matthewking 9y agoTake a look at https://www.cloudimage.io https://www.cloudimage.io
- pier25 9y agoLike https://www.imgix.com/ https://www.imgix.com/ ?
- superzamp 9y agoExactly.
- wiredfool 9y agoUploadcare.com?
- plaidfuji 9y agoImage processing tends to be quite application-specific. What's the application?
- CyberDildonics 9y agoWhat context and what does that mean exactly? Image processing is not usually a difficult hurdle.
- superzamp 9y agoAs pier25 suggested, I was thinking about imgix. We (a marketplace) stopped using our hand-rolled image processing service for Imgix, and now enjoy their performance and suite of clever tricks to deliver the least bytes the fastest to the user. The impact on SEO and conversion is non-negligible.
- EpicEng 9y agoI work in this space. What specifically are you thinking about? As another person said, image analysis is very application specific.
