Homes are definitely still appreciating - probably more so in the last decade than any time before. The problem is that they've increased to a point where most can no longer afford to enter the market. Someone, somewhere is capturing that wealth, though.
- tonyedgecombe 9y agoIf people can't afford them then there must be an upper limit.
- anovikov 9y agoIn last 10 years (Q2 2007 to Q2 2017) new homes appreciated by 31.97% only which is only 12.3% inflation-adjusted, and less than growth of size of average new home, so per square foot, homes has become slightly cheaper.
