I'm very curious what your concern is in this? I understand the CIA interest and value in PayPal, Facebook, and Google. But what do they gain from Docker, other than as a simple investment? Backdoors or something?
- api 9y agoI have no idea if the parent is correct or what, but just for the sake of argument I can see one issue here. Docker Hub is a massive centralized store of software. If Docker becomes The Way to deploy infrastructure and services, Docker Hub could theoretically trojanize the world. It would be a way of getting the kind of leverage over the Linux world that MS and Apple offer for their respective ecosystems.
