Apple's Series Three Apple Watch to Include Cellular Connection
- MBCook 9y agoI love my S2, but I have a hard time seeing why I should pay the cell phone company $120/yr to connect my watch. I don't go without my phone and I don't think this would change that. For people who want to run and listen to Spotify in sure this is great. But that stupid cell company fee will keep me away. Just like it keeps me off cellular iPads.
- doggydogs94 9y agoYou have to to pay $120/yr because they have a network and you don't. Create your own telecom and you can connect to the internet for free.
- MBCook 9y agoI'm not expecting it to be free, it just seems like a very high fee for what the watch would do. Remember I'm already paying hundreds a year for my phone and the shared data plan. $10 a month just seems like a lot to add an additional device, especially if I end up needing to buy more data too.
