I worked for SpaceX but now I work for Bezos. I definitely think BO is years away... but not a decade. I don't think they'll compete for the same payloads at first but eventually they will. Bezos has significantly more money to dump into this problem than Elon. There are plenty of other reasons, beyond the money, I don't think it will be that long before BO really starts to compete.
