I have an Asus RT-AC66U w/ merlin firmware. I've been running it for years now without a single crash. It's only been rebooted once to update the firmware as it's on a UPS. I have a 2 TB HDD that turns it into our house's media server.
- gmac 9y agoSimilar: RT-N66U, with stock firmware. In Wireless Access Point mode, attached to my ISP-provided modem/router, whose WiFi is turned off. Very happy with it.

- hetspookjee 9y agoRT-AC88U with a 4tb HDD to it and stock firmware. Extremely happy with it.
