Those doctor's notes follow you around forever when you go to do things like purchase disability insurance or seek treatment. Suddenly you are no longer a healthy individual you are an individual with a history of condition X and Y which you have never even heard of. And because a doctor wrote it down it's now a reality and the patient is a liar!
