Yes exactly. Just like servers. There just needs to be a big lawsuit, or law, or something, to make it clear that owners of a device shall have real ownership of that device (i.e. be able to have your own boot keys and capability to disable/enable features like trusted computing).
- takeda 9y agoThat's actually not a bad idea. Maybe we could somehow organize a class action lawsuit. Perhaps if it hits them in the pockets the message will be loud and clear?
