Maybe the biggest problem is Tesla calling it autopilot. Just call it lane assist or adaptive cruise control. I know many of the cars will stop working if you take your hands off the wheel too long.
- artursapek 9y agoBut their plan is to slowly evolve it into a full autopilot feature. I think Elon says they're demoing a CA->NYC no-hands trip sometime in the next year. Maybe they could have branded it differently early on?
- samfisher83 9y agoCall it autopilot when it works like an autopilot, but right now it really doesn't do all of that.
