The most -ahem- interesting takeaway from this story IMHO is that Orleans Parish DA Cannizzaro describes being jailed as a material witness as an inconvenience. If I were a local judge, I'd love the opportunity to lock him up for a few weeks just to have that 'inconvenience' metered out on himself.
