Maybe ignorant question. Why would one choose Etsy over Amazon
- strictnein 9y agoEtsy was originally a marketplace for artisan or custom goods that would allow you to buy directly from the artists/craftsmen.
- bpicolo 9y agoAnd now that they aren't, there's new opportunity for a marketplace for artisan goods perhaps. Heh.
- electricEmu 9y agoWell, a consumer generally visits Amazon for cheap, not quality, goods. Etsy is supposed to be the place a consumer goes to purchase small batch, hand made, custom items.
- j-walker 9y agoWhich, from my experience, isn't the case anymore. It's people selling cheap Chinese charms on some string.
- Neliquat 9y agoThat you would even ask that is exactly why they are failing.
- slouch 9y agoCustom orders. I just had a rubber stamp created from an illustrator file via Etsy.
