What? No, they should have kept upping the offer.
It wasn't worth a penny more than $800 + hotel and rebooking x 4 to United so they called the police to enforce their profit margin rather than pay the market cost of doing business.
- Dagwoodie 10y agoCouldn't agree more. A law requiring the airline to keep doubling the offer for volunteers every x minutes until y number take it will solve this problem 100% of the time.
