Have there been anything new in UX since 1970s?
- k__ 10y agoProbably the same as with programming, so no, haha. But, we can always use all the research that went into desktop machines and sell it as new things for mobile and web. This works better than I initially thought, lol.
- yoz-y 10y agoProliferation of touchscreen interfaces
- seanmcdirmid 10y agoPervasive bitmapped displays.
- radley 10y agoColor.
- bbcbasic 10y agoSwipes, pinches, shakes, 3D effects. One phone UX thing I hate for example. Phone makes random noises at night. Now try to pinpoint the app or setting or setting within an app that causes that.
- overcast 10y agoSwiping, and pinching was pretty game changing. Shaking and 3D effects are just useless novelties.
