- pg_bot 10y agoActually this has already happened with the Pithovirus which was discovered in 2014. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pithovirus https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pithovirus This virus is also interesting because it is orders of magnitude larger than previously known viruses.
