I think that this is great and you are valuing trust between you and the company. We are all adults and it is first and foremost your life and time that you have decided to spend with the company. Expectation that it is the company's time is an aggressive way to think about a salary based employment. I am befuddled by some companies that do not understand that respect and trust goes a long way towards employees life, health, and productivity too!
