So that change in business model will likely mean more outsourcing of jobs. The fundamental goal of any company is to save money.
- abakker 10y agoThe low-skill parts will just be automated. We will source a grouping of high-skill work to someone that deserves a higher salary, and now we have a financial incentive to automate work that should have been automated already.

- Apocryphon 10y agoAnd if outsourcing leads to lower quality, then that tactic would be abandoned by a successful business model in favor of a better way to save money.
- chrisbennet 10y agoI think some businesses lose sight of the true fundamental goal of a business: make money. Saving money is secondary.

- bdcravens 10y agoAbsolutely. The onus is on the business themselves to facilitate that, not the government via the H1B.
