- nradov 10y agoTrains are already highly automated. The largest trains have only a few workers on board so eliminating them won't cut costs much. - pinaceae 10y agoseems like a lot of costly accidents all point to human error of the "driver". falling asleep, speeding, etc. just seems very odd that no one from the big ones - Siemens, Bombardier, etc would go after that. Not even in Japan or China, both train heaven.
