I did while 2.1 was an RC. It has worked flawlessly and I haven't looked back. Build and minification is still a pain though...

  Try webpack, it's fast and the configuration is nearly declarative. You can also create a separate build task to run a smoke test by directly calling the ts compiler to compile your code (skipping pre- and post- build steps). This was a lot faster than I expected.
