  That sucks. Are you sure you weren't using iCloud library and need to enable it to download the music? Or perhaps iTunes by default doesn't show music in the cloud? Would be interested in your resolution, though I've not heard of this anywhere else.

    It wiped my playlists. Every time I restore my playlist backup it syncs and rewipes it. Will report back when I figure out the fix

  That sucks. I hope you had a good backup but even that is an inconvenience.

  Good reminder to backup before you upgrade, whether its your phone or your desktop.
