It's one thing to shit over the workers Kraft, but to shit over the product is another (They changed the recipes, sizes, and generally turned the best chocolate in the world into shitty American chocolate (no offense to Americans)).
- toyg 10y agoThe "best" chocolate for some values of "best", i.e. "the one I remember growing up in UK". Across Europe, Cadbury is widely considered barely edible. Pre-Kraft Cadbury were also instrumental in watering down EU regulations on the minimum amount of cocoa in chocolate products.
- ollie87 10y agoI've lived in the UK my whole life and I think you've got rose-tinted spectacles. Cadbury chocolate has always been terrible.
- 72deluxe 10y agoIt's odd though - Dairy Milk Fruit and Nut still tastes great to me. Other new products they released (marshmellows covered in chocolate?) taste of nothing - they're just sweet like any Quality Street. Milk Tray - now that is the blandest chocolate I have ever tasted. So I don't know how much they have changed things.
- aembleton 10y agoThe rocky road chocolate (marshmallows covered in chocolate) is not made by Cadbury. Look at the small print on the back of the packet and you'll see that it is made under licence for Cadbury (Mondelez).
- allengeorge 10y agoMondelez is Kraft. So it's white-labeled Kraft product :)
