It helps to use "x" instead of shift-8 (star) as the star is used for italics which is why your comment is a little hard to understand at first.

- JoshTriplett 10y agoI do wonder what it would take to get new comments to support `code` escapes or multi-line code escapes, similar to Markdown.
- nradov 10y agoTo be pedantic, the proper character to use is "×", not "x".
