Please give examples of countries doing socialism right.
- PhasmaFelis 10y agoScandinavia seems to be doing all right, so that's Denmark, Finland, Norway, Iceland and Sweden for starters.
- SixSigma 10y agoThey are about as socialist as 1970s Britain
- seanmcdirmid 10y agoPeople in America scream "socialism!" whenever they hear the words "universal healthcare", so the standard in the states, at least, is really low. E.g. "Bernie Sanders is a socialist" is a common refrain even if he isn't dressed in a mao suit advocating nationalization of all private industries...that he is advocating taxing the rich more is enough.
- tiktiktok 10y agoUSA does socialism right, the police force is socialized and we have the best police in the world! Not to mention our fire fighters and our public schools. Our military is socialized as well, and, like our police force, it's the best in the world Can't wait till we socialize our health care system with single-payer, if the examples set by our socialized police and military mean anything, we'll have the best health care in the world!
