It wasn't solved.
It was "practically solved" - not a very scientific term put by the authors of that project (http://poker.srv.ualberta.ca/ http://poker.srv.ualberta.ca/). This means that the approximate solution is exploitable for about 0.1bb/100 hands. This is very close to the real solution but "solved" is a bit misleading as that term means something different when referring to games.
