People want large, busybody police departments and they don't want to pay the taxes that entails.
Police departments found a way to fund themselves without pissing off anyone who matters politically.
- WDCDev 10y agoPolice unions want large busybody departments and they don't care who pays. They just know that once a new police officer is hired SOMEONE will pay.
- Loughla 10y agoNo, people want large, busybody departments. It makes them feel safe. They don't want to increase their taxes, though, especially in conservative states such as Oklahoma.
- imtringued 10y agoI don't think robbery makes anyone feel safe.
