- joezydeco 10y agoWhat does it cost to replace the filters? Never seen that mentioned anywhere.
- knodi123 10y agoMe neither, even in the real world, and I have cabin air filters. They throw in a free air filter change when I get my oil changed.
- plorkyeran 10y agoA replacement HEPA filter for my room air filter is ~$10, so I'd be surprised if it was even $100 with labor.
- joezydeco 10y agoYour $10 filter is made by the millions. The Tesla one is going to be highly, highly custom and in low production quantities. It's also very large: http://i1.wp.com/evobsession.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Tesla-Model-X-air-filter.png http://i1.wp.com/evobsession.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/... I'd go a few Benjamins higher if I had to guess.
- maratd 10y ago> Only available to the rich. That's where new technology always starts? Eventually everything trickles down. That's how tech works.
- jimrandomh 10y agoI don't think they've said whether the Model 3 (which is sub-40K) will have it or not.
- CptJamesCook 10y agoThis shouldn't be a very expensive feature. It's just an air filter.
- esaym 10y agoPretty much what I was thinking too. Guess I'll be sticking with my 2000 V6 mustang for another 10 years.
