A virtual reality web is something I've been thinking about a lot lately. As in, how do we make the 'Metaverse' a reality. In particular, I've been thinking about how to best handle distributed identity/look. It's definitely an interesting problem, and it's cool to see tools like this already being built.

- sbuttgereit 10y agoAs much as this seems a little glib ( ;-) ) I was just thinking this myself. This is not necessarily new territory... just the user interface technology may have changed a bit. I think Second Life still kicks around (I might even check), but it seems like the next wave of hype may simply be a case of what is old is new. Of course, thinking a bit more and being a bit glib myself, perhaps this really means that Second Life may have a thir... er.... second life itself.
