I think in contrast to the Uk and US - work relationships in a lot of European countries are much more rigid and hierarchical.
- amag 10y agoThis very much depends on the countries. For instance Swedish companies typically have very flat hierarchies, much more so than US companies. In fact when a US company buys a Swedish company often several layers of managerial hierarchy is added.
