Google is fully responsible - the fact is that they prefer not to police their networks for inoffensive content because that policy ultimately drives traffic and revenue to their company; they should be forced to review videos BEFORE they are published. Shame on them for allowing this filth.
- sp332 17y ago20 hours of video is uploaded to YouTube every minute. That means 1200 people reviewing 24/7, making sure that the reviewer speaks the language(s) to watch for profanity.
- mo34 17y agoExactly - it's fairly obvious why Google has made the conscious decision not to do this, it costs a lot of money and their business model suffers. Ok - so they run the risk of breaking national laws and take the consequences when it happens. I'm not sure this is the most ethical or moral business model but it's what they have decided to do.
