- marcosdumay 11y agoDid "Apple is helping terrorists!" really got traction in the US? From far away, it didn't look like it did.
- rayiner 11y agoIt got plenty of traction among key demographics. It's a good populist talking point and Trump brought it up a number of times. The kernel of truth in the messages is: whatever the right policy happens to be, it's not Apple's call to make. The elected government should decide the balance to strike between protecting communications and keeping us safe from terrorists.
