This is pretty much the only Ubuntu phone with significant sales numbers. This is the result of a cooperation between Canonical and bq. This is pretty much the equivalent of a Nexus device for the Ubuntu phone platform.
- MBCook 11y agoWhen 95%+ of Android devices are non-Nexus, that means that's easily the majority experience of Android users. I think that makes it fair.
- sspiff 11y agoIt's an entirely unfair comparison - Canonical only has to support a single phone model, while Google would have to support hundreds.
- qbrass 11y agoIt's the trade-off Google accepted for allowing their trademark on unsupported devices and having 80% of the mobile OS marketshare instead of 4%.
