Why, when you have 14 days to just take it back no questions asked?
- NamTaf 11y agoTo elaborate since I'm apparently being downvoted and can't edit: In Australia, which I'm assuming the parent is part of since they specified AUD$1400, Apple specifically allows for a 14 day return policy [1]. You could drop AUD$1400 on the phone, find it does not suit your needs, then return it and get something else no questions asked. In that sense, Apple specifically alleviates that anxiety of dropping AUD$1400 on a new phone and as a result I don't necessarily understand why the parent would find it anxiety-provoking to find it doesn't work for them when they can easily receive a refund. - taspeotis 11y ago> get something else For two years Apple _didn't sell_ a flagship 4"-or-smaller phone. So that "something else" was an Android phone. Which, if you're locked into the iOS ecosystem (or just plain like it) ... would be a bit anxiety inducing.
- NamTaf 11y agoFair enough, though you could revert back to a new 5S and be no worse off. It's a bit sluggish here and there but I'm typing this post on one and it's still my only phone and holds up for 95% of tasks.
