I love the phrase "if you're the only one with an idea, it's probably a bad idea" :)
- marcosdumay 11y agoThere's something to be said about "idea space". most ideas hold little variance, and other people will have them. But some ideas can hold so much variance that no, nobody else in the world will even think about it.
- danieltillett 11y agoThis could be shortened to "if you have an idea then it is probably a bad idea" since most ideas are bad.
- rorykoehler 11y agoPeople seemed to take it as if I was bragging about how many good ideas I have had (parent comment 2 levels up). In reality what I find amazing is that most of my ideas were terrible, solutions looking for a problem, and I'm glad I didn't pursue them.
